An education platform for AFL Barwon clubs to receive key information for the upcoming Football & Netball Season.

Education will be delivered to Clubs via a series of webinars during Club Education Week from 17-19th February.

    Presented by William Ross & Lisa Patterson

    This session will provide Junior Football Co-ordinators (male & female) with the necessary information to assist them in their roles at club level.

    Information to be disseminated will include:

    • Grading Processes and Fixturing
    • Junior Match Policy discussion points

  • Football Player Points & Salary Cap (M&F) Webinar

    Presented by Michael Limb

    Targeted at members of your club who will be looking after player payments and player points (male & female football).

    An overview with updates regarding the Community Club Sustainability Program implementation for the 2025 season.

    The frameworks, reporting requirements and relevant policy documents for club Player Payments will be outlined, as will the Player Points processes and applicable Local By-Laws.

    Any recent policy amendments will also be outlined.

    An outline of the requirements around squad submissions for points assessments, player payment requirements and reporting information, as well as other information relevant to these processes. Any policy amendments will also be outlined.

    This session will provide critical information for game day team managers (male & female teams) of match day requirements and procedures for all senior football competitions.

  • Play HQ Information Webinar (Football & Netball)

    Presented by Dani Cornwall

    This session will focus on the competition administration side of the PlayHQ program for club admins, team managers and other club officials. It will look at how to allocate teams, assign team managers, coaches and volunteers, how to select line ups, enter scores, and other new features of the PlayHQ system.

VACANCY - AFL Barwon Netball Panel Umpire

AFL Barwon provides governance and strategy development for Football and Netball across the Barwon region. We are seeking qualified and experienced people to officiate premier matches in the Geelong and Bellarine FNL competitions.

The Netball Panel umpires are primarily responsible for umpiring A and B Grade competitions in the winter season that are run across Saturdays and Sundays from April through until September. We are seeking qualified and experienced persons to officiate premier matches in the Geelong and Bellarine FNL competitions.

We are seeking umpires of a high calibre to officiate matches that will include players who feature in the Victorian Netball League.
