Matthew Boag has capped off his outstanding return to Torquay by taking home the Les Ash Medal is outstanding style. He was 6 votes clear of his likely match up in this weekend's Grand Final in Anglesea Coach Jordan Keras to claim his first medal.
Boag's pure ability to win the ball was evident as he averaged 31 disposals, 8 clearances and 7 marks a game in what are remarkable numbers for the year.
He capped off his season by also claiming the Geelong Advertiser Coaches Player of the Year, voted by each week by the club coaches.
Newcomb's Jack Duke took home the Leading Goal Kicker while Geelong Amateur's young star Tom Gorrell was named the Rookie of the Year.
Queenscliff's Jayden Durran held off Drysdale's Joshua Hopgood in a tight count to claim the Don Cole Medal for the best Reserve's player.
