Tied count for the Bellarine's top Netball award
Newcomb star Jess Duke and Torquay's Kiralee Collings couldn't be split at tonight's Bellarine FNL Presentation Dinner, with both players tied on 27 votes.
Duke who was runner up to Queenscliff star Kaitlin Gladman in 2023, capped off a remarkable season with Newcomb. Colling's move to the Bellarine started off in remarkable style, polling 12 votes in the first five rounds of the season. Duke's single vote in Round 18, where Colling's didn't poll made for an exciting finish to the count.
Duke was earlier crown the inaugural Geelong Advertiser Coaches Player of the Year award winner.
Geelong Amateur's shooter Ruby Watson was crowned the A Grade Hot Shots winner, with her teammate Louise Shaw selected as the Rising Star.
