All-Abilities Football Netball League in the Barwon Region in 2023

The AFL Barwon Region will be hosting an Australian first, All-Abilities Football Netball League in 2023.

In an exciting addition to the Football and Netball competitions in Barwon region, the All-Abilities Football Netball League competitions adds further diversity and community opportunities to play both sports.

The All-Abilities football competition will commence its inaugural season with four Clubs - Bell Park FNC, Geelong West Giants FNC, Newcomb FNC & St Joseph’s FNC, fielding Football teams. The currently established All-Abilities Netball competition will be aligned to new league.

The 2023 All Abilities FNL season will commence the week of April 29^th and run until August 12^th. The football will take place fortnightly with each participating club hosting the competition. The current netball competition will also look to move to a club-based operation on a weekly basis.’

The season fixture will be released in February.
