Ocean Grove FNC Seeking Two Under 18 Coaches for 2025 Season

The Under 18 coaches will lead the development and success of the teams, working closely with the senior coaching group to prepare players for future senior opportunities. The successful candidates will form part of the club’s coaching group, ensuring the highest standards across the program.

Attributes of a successful candidate are as follows:

• Previous leadership experience in a club environment
• Can teach and develop young players, helping them transition to senior football
• Possess the ability to collaborate effectively with others to drive success
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and organisational abilities

South Barwon Football Club participating within AFL Barwon are seeking a Women’s Senior assistant Coach or coaches for season 2025 and beyond to work with our newly appointed Senior Women’s coach Frankie Hocking.

As a successful club since its inception, we are looking for a coach to lead, teach, support our Women’s team and senior coach into its next phase in accordance with all our club values and policies. With a talented group of junior girls filtering through our program this is an exciting opportunity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Support our coach in accordance too game plans and policies.
• Ensure all club values are always adhered to.
• Prepare and oversee training and game day coaching requirements as required and as directed.
• Help in recruitment in accordance with club policies as asked.
• Support junior girls’ coaches as needed.
• Work with Women’s Co-Ordinator and coach, ensuring appropriate outcomes for our program.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong communication and personal skillset.
• Ability to teach personal and team skills, implement game plan to optimize player and team improvement as directed by our senior coach.
• To be always organized and professional.
• Coaching accreditation up to date or taken upon.
• Working with children accreditation required.
• You must enjoy and have a passion for women’s/ girl’s sport and football in general.

The Bell Park FNC club is affiliated with the Geelong Football & Netball League (AFL Barwon), which is recognised as one of the premier community football and netball competitions in Australia. The club prides itself on its’ positive and inclusive culture and is run by passionate volunteers.

The Role

As the Junior Development Coordinator (AFL), you will lead and administer Bell Park’s ‘Male & Female Junior Football Development Program’ for approximately 250 registered Junior Football Players, ranging from U/9 through to U/18s.

This exciting, new program is designed to provide all Bell Park Junior players with the best possible development pathway.

It is aimed to provide teams across all age levels with a high-quality, consistent training program that will allow players at all levels to improve and enjoy the game. 

This will be achieved by supporting and upskilling our team of junior coaches to implement the program.

About you:

• You are committed, and enjoy working with junior coaches and children of all ages, taking pride in their development across all levels of ability;

• You are passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive club culture and community;

• You have excellent communication skills and interact effectively with coaches and children alike to create a fun and encouraging learning atmosphere;

• You understand development principles and age-appropriate coaching techniques and are experienced with keeping development progress records;

Key Requirements:

• Working With Children's Check (or ability to obtain)

• MUST regularly be available Tuesday to Thursday evenings during training months and Saturday mornings (or alternatively Sunday mornings pending fixturing) during the AFL Barwon Junior Football season.

• Experience coaching Australian Rules Football 

Desirable:

• You have a strong understanding of AFL junior pathways.

• You are experienced in leading people.

Remuneration:

This is a paid role with renumeration open to negotiation.

The Anglesea Football Netball Club is seeking Expressions of Interest for Senior Netball Coaching roles for the upcoming season. Positions available include:

• Coaches for all Senior Teams – A - E
• Assistant Coaches for all Senior Teams
• Team Managers
