South Barwon Football Club participating within AFL Barwon are seeking a Women's Senior Coach for season 2025 and beyond. 

As a successful club since its inception, we are looking for a coach to promote and lead our Womens team into its next phase in accordance with all our club values and policies. With a talented group of junior girls filtering through our program this is an exciting opportunity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Lead our senior Women's side either as a stand alone, playing, or co-coach.
• Lead the Womens program into the club as a wholistic.
• Ensure all club value's are adhered to at all times.
• Prepare and oversee training and game day coaching requirements.
• Lead recruitment in accordance with club policies.
• Support junior girls coaches as needed.
• Work with Women's Co-Ordinator, ensuring appropriate outcomes for our program. 

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong communication and personal skillset.
• Ability to teach personal and team skills, implement game plan to optimize player and team improvement.
• To be organized and professional at all times.
• Coaching accreditation up to date or taken upon.
• Working with children accreditation required.

The Drysdale Football Netball Club, within the Bellarine Football and Netball League under the governance of AFL Barwon, is seeking an A Grade Coach for the 2025 Season and beyond. We are looking for a coach driven to elevate our club to the next level, as part of our rebuilding strategy.

The DFNC has a proud history and is continuing to strive for success on and off the court – providing a safe, inclusive, encouraging and nurturing environment for all sporting endeavours at both a junior and senior level.

We are seeking an A Grade coach who embodies these values and will continue striving for success and the best for our club.

About the Role:

• Lead the A Grade players and officials in accordance with club values and code of conduct
• Support A Grade recruitment process, building around our existing talent pool
• Prepare and oversee the pre-season calendar, including team selections
• Prepare and conduct all related training sessions and game days as required by the BFNL A Grade competition fixture.
• Support junior player development
• Be a role model and ambassador for the DFNC
• Work alongside committee, senior and junior coordinators and other coaches and netball staff

 Skills and Experience:

• Previous coaching and leadership experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide feedback using a range of methods, to optimise player performance
• Experience communicating and implementing strategic game plans and on court structures, particularly for developing players
• Be professional, hardworking and organised
• Have a passion for netball and community clubs
• Minimum Netball Australia Development Coach Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children’s Check (or willingness to obtain)

The Club was founded in 1880, making it one of the oldest sporting organisations in Geelong. They are a foundation member of the Geelong Football League, joining the competition in 1979. This was followed by the netball program in 2000 and more recently the Women’s Football program in 2017.

St Albans FNC are seeking an ‘A’ Grade Netball Coach for season 2025 and beyond. A person who can mentor and further develop the young group, where strong foundations have been laid to complement the squad by bringing on-court experience and success.

An ‘A’ Grade coach who has a deep knowledge of the game, who can facilitate training sessions collaboratively under our “one Club” mantra would be the right person who prides themselves on performance standards and winning culture.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

1. Participate in trials and team selections

2. Plan and execute training sessions in consultation with coaching team

3. Tactical netball understanding

4. Capable of driving development and performance standards by communicating and acting with integrity

5. Provide mentorship, support players in fostering their growth and development

6. Maintain open communication with players regarding their progress

7. Have a positive attitude and willingness to embrace a diverse community

8. Be adaptable and proactive in overcoming challenges

9. Willingness to promote the St Albans FNC brand and attend club events

10. Prior coaching experience is preferred

SALARY:

Remuneration to be negotiated based on coaching credentials and experience.
