Ashley is an experienced Senior Executive working across multiple industries within commercial and government sectors. He is a passionate Football and Netball advocate, locally he has played in, and represented at interleague level, both the Geelong and Bellarine Leagues. His daughters have also played Netball in the region.
His recent corporate experience includes role as the Chief Information Officer at the TAC and WorkSafe, the Chief Operating Officer and Strategy roles at WorkSafe that included strategy execution and transforming service delivery in complex stakeholder environments.
He has been the Interim CEO at WorkSafe during all of 2025. During this time his leadership is characterised by a focus on psychosocial safety, operational efficiency and deep community engagement.
Ash is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and an alumnus of the Williamson Community Leadership Program (2019).
Mostly, he is passionate about young people in our community using sport, football and netball in particular, to connect with peers, engage in the community and use exercise as a tool for staying mentally and physically well. Increasing participation and providing safe and welcoming environments for young people is a key focus.
