Local Footy Hub – Service Update

On Saturday, Local Footy Hub experienced a technical issue during a period of exceptionally high demand, which unfortunately restricted access for some viewers attempting to watch the AFL Barwon coverage.

While many viewers were able to watch the games without interruption, we sincerely apologise to those who were unable to access the coverage.

Our technical team responded immediately, however identifying and resolving the underlying database capacity issue took longer than anticipated.

We have since completed a full investigation, identified the cause and implemented additional measures to significantly increase capacity during periods of high viewer demand.

We understand how important Grand Final coverage is to supporters and apologise to those affected. Local Footy Hub is committed to providing a reliable service and we will continue working to ensure that we are fully prepared for major viewing events
