All the winners | Colac & District FNL Presentation Night

The award winners in the Colac & District Football Netball League have been announced.

It comes following the Colac & District Football Netball League Presentation Night held at the Colac RSL on Wednesday Night.

Football

The Mahoney Medal for the senior football best and fairest was awarded to Lorne’s Samual Torpy who polled 26 votes.

After not featuring at all for the Dolphins in 2025, Torpy was back with a vengeance.

He averaged over a goal a game and was named in the best 10 times over the course of the season.

Runner up went to Bailey Scott of the Colac Imperials who finished the count on 24 votes.

The former Essendon VFL player had a commanding year in front of goals with 39 goals in his 13 games.

Third went to Alvie’s Lincoln Dare with 22 votes.

In the reserves Best and Fairest Fletcher Barron from Lorne was the run-away winner after polling 32 votes.

Runner up to Barron was Alvie’s Hayden Hickey who polled 23 votes.

Closely following in third was Birregurra’s Andrew Kelly on 22 votes.

Netball

In the Russell Medal for A grade Best and Fairest, Birregurra’s Handley Nikita was the winner with 33 votes.

Runner up was Eliza Cahill from Colac Imperials who polled 25 votes.

Third spot went to Brittany Monaghan of South Colac with 22 votes.

In B grade Lorne’s Lucy Erftemeyer took out the Best and Fairest after polling 29 votes.

Runner up was her Lorne teammate Leigh Potter who finished the count with 21 votes.

She was closely followed by Birregurra’s Alysha Hill who polled 20 votes in the count.

In C grade Irrewarra-Beeac’s  Chloe Copeland finished the count on top after she polled 29 votes.

Runner ups to her were teammate Paige Copeland and Western Eagles’ Lorraine Mahoney on 26 votes each.

In D grade it was a close finish with Simpson’s Leesha Seabrook winning by one vote after polling 23 votes.

Runner up was her Simpson teammate Briana Ferrari who polled 22 votes.

Coming in at third was Bree McKenzie from the Colac Imperials after she finished the count on 19 votes.
