Serenity In The Stadium

This year for World Mental Health Day, we are joining Active Geelong, Read the Play and Kardinia Park Stadium Trust to bring a new event to the Geelong community.

Serenity in the Stadium will be taking over the iconic GMHBA Stadium on Thursday 10 October, where up to 2,000 people will gather on the oval for a one-hour yoga session as the sun rises over the stands.

The practice of yoga is beneficial for many reasons including mind-body connection, stress reduction, improved mood, mindfulness, physical activity and social connection.

Lead by Sally Ferriss from Wonder Yoga, the event aims to raise awareness for mental health and the importance of physical activity and social connection for our mental wellbeing.

Date: Thursday 10 October 2024

Time: Approx. 7am

Location: Oval at GMHBA Stadium, Geelong VIC

Cost: Adults $55 | Student/Concession - $33 | Family (2 adults, 2 children) – $132
