Belmont Lions v North Geelong Seniors Investigation Result
The below outcome has been made following an investigation into an incident that occurred during the 4th quarter of the Geelong & District FNL Senior match between Belmont Lions and North Geelong on 28th June 2025.
The investigation related to an incident between Belmont Lions player Shaun McNamara and North Geelong player Osca Riccardi, with the following findings being handed down.
Shaun McNamara has been charged with rough conduct in which the offence was deemed careless, high contact and high impact. The player was offered the base sanction of 3 matches, with an early guilty plea of 2 matches accepted by Belmont Lions. The sanction will be in effect for this weekend’s matches.
