Professional mechanical engineer. Worked at Ford Motor Company (Manufacturing Operations) Geelong, holding senior executive roles in the manufacturing and plant engineering areas for over 25 years, in a 36 year career. Involved in strategic business planning as well as day to day management activities.
Involved in local country football since 1992 in the following capacities at Geelong Football Umpires League, as running field umpire (324 games), senior field umpires coach and observer (2005 and 2006) and administrator (as member of Geelong Football Umpires League Board of Management from 1994 to 1997 and 2005 to 2007). Life Member of Geelong Football Umpires League 2005.
Involvement in several committees and councils that have required strategic and governance participation in the development of the critical business needs of the particular organisations involved.
