Lara FNC - Senior Football Coach Vacancy
The Lara Football Netball Club is a 35-year member of the Geelong Football Netball League. They are a proud community club of over 600 football participants each week across their senior, junior and Auskick programs, for both male and female participants.
Lara FNC are seeking applications from qualified individuals interested in the Senior Men’s Football Coaching position for season 2025 and beyond. The successful applicant will:
- Exhibit attributes and skills we have identified as key to the next phase of growth and development, and in particular will hold a coaching philosophy and approach that matches the needs and ambitions of LFNC
- Bring a thorough understanding of modern football techniques and game styles
- Ideally, have experience as a senior coach at major local league or above, although assistant coaching or development roles at major local league level or higher would be considered
- Commit to, and be capable of, leading the development of the club’s younger senior players and pipeline of juniors as the major underpinning of future success
- Be able to build and sustain constructive, positive relationships with the club committee, coaching group, match committee, playing group and support personnel
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, and be willing to help mentor and guide the wider coaching groups across the club
- Be accredited to Level 2 (minimum) or Level 3 (highly desirable)
- Be well regarded in the community and from past roles, for their character and integrity.
