St Albans FNC - A Grade Coach Vacancy

St Albans Football & Netball Club, Geelong is offering the right candidate an opportunity to join a community centred club that is proud and passionate about their standing in the GFNL.

The Club was founded in 1880, making it one of the oldest sporting organisations in Geelong. They are a foundation member of the Geelong Football League, joining the competition in 1979. This was followed by the netball program in 2000 and more recently the Women’s Football program in 2017.

St Albans FNC is steadfast in its commitment to improving the overall performance across the entire sporting landscape, with concerted focus on our junior football and netball programs. The club’s vision and guiding principles are focused on our People, Place, Participation, Pride and Performance.

St Albans FNC are seeking an ‘A’ Grade Netball Coach for season 2025 and beyond. A person who can mentor and further develop the young group, where strong foundations have been laid to complement the squad by bringing on-court experience and success.

An ‘A’ Grade coach who has a deep knowledge of the game, who can facilitate training sessions collaboratively under our “one Club” mantra would be the right person who prides themselves on performance standards and winning culture.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate the following:

1. Participate in trials and team selections

2. Plan and execute training sessions in consultation with coaching team

3. Tactical netball understanding

4. Capable of driving development and performance standards by communicating and acting with integrity

5. Provide mentorship, support players in fostering their growth and development

6. Maintain open communication with players regarding their progress

7. Have a positive attitude and willingness to embrace a diverse community

8. Be adaptable and proactive in overcoming challenges

9. Willingness to promote the St Albans FNC brand and attend club events

10. Prior coaching experience is preferred

SALARY:

Remuneration to be negotiated based on coaching credentials and experience.
